Elecbyte have said that some of the inspiration for M.U.G.E.N came from games such as SFIBM, an unlicensed PC port of Street Fighter II. M.U.G.E.N started off as a PC shooting game, though Elecbyte made the change from a shooter to a fighting game when they noticed "there weren't any good commercial fighting games on the PC at the time". M.U.G.E.N has a fairly large community, with multiple forums and sites dedicated to the engine, as well as many internet videos with the purpose of teaching users how to use and customise the engine or (more commonly) broadcasting M.U.G.E.N fights. Being a fighting game engine at heart, M.U.G.E.N takes inspiration from a variety of classic fighting game series such as Street Fighter and The King of Fighters, featuring a seven-button combat system ( Ⓐ, Ⓑ, Ⓒ, Ⓧ, Ⓨ, Ⓩ, and Ⓢ ), typically representing three punches, three kicks, and a taunt, though characters are not limited to having those presets, with many opting to use fewer buttons and less traditional button layouts. M.U.G.E.N allows users (typically known as "authors" or "creators") to create content for the engine such as (but not limited to) characters and stages for others to download and add to their game, or just to keep for themselves, as well as fully-fledged fighting games. The most recent version of M.U.G.E.N to be publicly released is version 1.1 Beta 1, which was released on August 7th 2013, though the most recent stable build is version 1.0, released on January 18th 2011. M.U.G.E.N (also written as MUGEN and Mugen officially pronounced "moo- gen" ) is a freeware 2D fighting game engine developed by Elecbyte. The default motif for versions 1.0 and 1.1 of the M.U.G.E.N engine For the article about the character based on the engine, see M.U.G.E.N (character). ![]() so I say it again ITS NOT A CONVERT ITS NOT A EDIT, ITS A DATA folder TRANSFER hahaha. This article is about the M.U.G.E.N engine. I should never had done it or taken request from that person >.<Īnd the funny thing out of this big misunderstanding is that No one got the the hint. there was no editing involved no covert involved no nothing of anything at all, But you know what was my biggest mistake was ? I had nothing to do with Broken mugen, its was all a easy data folder transfer, nothing more than that. I had to clear my name because of the big huge misunderstanding, that another reason why I give up on converting screen pack because of itīoy talk about the worse mistake of my life.SO Please correct your title please. so they cleared my name off there info database and told them It's was nothing more huge misunderstanding, because one guy thought its was converted but its really was not. So I told them and explain to them that there was no edit involved and I had nothing to do with broken mugen 1.1 as well. I also had to go to Mugen Wikia website and let the owner know that they made HUGE Mistake by putting my name on there mugen wiki info about Broken Mugen and me so I took upon my self and did a simple transfer just to be very nice to the guy's request and to save time for gui007 BECAUSE he had way to many convert request to deal with, How the Broken mugen got transfer over the Mugen 1.1 and the story started was one guy on Mugen fighter guild requested to GUI to make a Convert of broken mugen for mugen1.1 but they had no idea on how to do it or did not know how to go about on doing it. ![]() I wish people stop thinking that I had anything to do with Broken mugen and two4teezee is original person that made broken mugen NOT ME. I want to point out that I did not EDIT anything. The only thing I did was to Transfer the Existing Data files that was already made for the Mugen 1.0 over the Mugen 1.1, I never once made no changes.
